What I’ve Done

I’ve generally focused my time and energy around public health, health policy, and technology.  Below are some of the things I’ve done in the past few years.  I also have a resume available, if that’s what you were looking for.

Public Health/Policy

  • Received a Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Illinois (2007).
  • Led a retrospective, case-control study of endangered runaway youth (2007).
  • Successfully implemented a program to improve appointment failure rates for ambulatory patients (2007).
  • Organized the HIV testing program for an at-risk youth center (2008).
  • Implemented a patient complaints system for the largest hospital system in Minnesota (2009).
  • Appointed to the Public Health Advisory Committee for the City of Minneapolis (2009).
  • Implemented a population management tool for HIV patients (2010).

Technology

  • Won Practice Fusion’s “Analyze This” Health 2.0 Developer’s Challenge (2011).
  • Finalist in the Foursquare Global Hackathon (2011).
  • Hired as the Technical Lead for Qpid.Me (2011).
